fish don't touch
at least not much
and even though
they're nice enough
i find I can't
quite blame them
'cause really
when you think it through
you wouldn't want them
touching you
their flippers tickle
and yet they never laugh
and all those slimy scales
yuck
you'd think that maybe
now and then
those fish would take a bath
but don't think i'm unfeeling
it's not that I'm unfair
i'm sure i'd have one
for a friend
if only they had hair!
